Meet the Beekeeper

Sydney first began her beekeeping journey while she was in high school and her love for honey bees has only grown since. She founded Apiary Maven Bee Company in 2019 in Louisville, Kentucky. She managed multiple urban apiaries and worked with the Cavehill Cemetery and Arboretum’s Bee Team to manage their twenty hives and honey operation.

She currently runs Apiary Maven Bee Co. in Nashville, Tennessee while finishing up her Master Beekeeper Certification. When she’s not tending to her hives, she’s reading about bees or watching a film noir.
